Symbolförklaringar

We care about the environment:

The Green Key (international environmental stamp) Nature's Best Krav (official Swedish organic stamp)

On the border to the UN World Heritage Laponia is an old timber farm on a slope down towards Langas and Stora Sjöfallet. The interior from 1918 is still almost intact, with open fires and vivid light in the restaurant. Welcome home to Saltoluokta.

A boat trip with M/S Langas takes you to the mountain lodge and summer camp of the Sirka Sámi people. A simplicity that makes Salto very popular among families with children and those who want enjoy their time in the mountains rather than subject themselves to extreme difficulties.

The local character is evident all over – not the least of which the kitchen lives up to these high expectations. In particular, the best of local produce is here and the fish for supper can very well be the catch of the day from Lake Langas outside of the dining room window.

People gladly stay here a little longer and enjoy the table’s delights, just like the surrounding ancient forests and steep mountains – on your own or with experienced guides.
